WE ARE ROOTED
rooted was born from a meeting between Poland and Nepal
What began as a bond between Aleksandra, Rebat, Zuzanna, and Antoni soon blossomed into a shared journey. Coming from diverse backgrounds—architecture, science, art, and finance—we found common ground through curiosity, openness, and a deep appreciation for authentic living.
Beyond the Himalayas, we discovered something much more enduring: traditional crafts, warm hospitality, local wisdom, rich cultural traditions, and a way of life rooted in simplicity, community, and care.
rooted grew out of connections with communities across Nepal
Where craftsmanship is sustained by the daily work of artisans. We met artists whose works embody knowledge passed down through generations, transforming natural materials into objects that embody both cultural heritage and a sense of belonging.
rooted is more than just bringing locally made items from Nepal to Poland
Our intention is to cultivate a deeper appreciation for the people, history, and traditions woven into each object. We want to create a meeting place for two cultures that have much to offer each other. We want to celebrate craftsmanship as a language that requires no translation.
