How it's made: The process begins with a flat weave, followed by knotting. The rug then undergoes washing, stretching, hemming, antibacterial treatment, shearing, and finishing. Every step is done by hand, without the use of machinery—including hand washing, pile trimming, and sun drying.
Production time: Creating a single rug takes anywhere from six weeks to two months, depending on size and season. Dyeing and color matching alone take 15–20 days.
